Graduation

Graduation day!!

So finally graduation is over ahah! It took foreverrr.... So as you all know I was in the first row, the choir performed and I was the 7th person to walk then it was just waiting. 500 names. The ceremony started at 4.30 pm and ended at 6.45 pm. Gosh it was boring! But I got my certificate and I got to graduate the American styleeee, and the princiapal did not mess up my name :D

Hi everyone! This is my choir teacher Mr. Martin. He enjoy having a chair on his head.

He does this a lot though, he is a very weird man haha! But I love him, he is the best teacher.

Nothing interesting happening in school really! Practicing for the dance recital next week and the spring concert. Got my prom dress altered because I'm so short haha.. It's so pretty I CAN'T WAIT FOR PROM! It'll be awesome.

I miss it already

Found a old cheer picture! I think it's kind of cute. I miss cheering, it was so fuun! But now choir starts again every Wednesday :D We are going to have some performances at some elemantary schools or something soon. Mr Martin was talking about it today but I didn't really understand it.

Oh yeah, school again. Such a boring day haha. Had nothing to do and the airconditioner didn't work in the dance room and that was terrible. It was so hot.

Chicago

Went to Chicago yesterday on a fieldtrip! Started of at a museum, that is my taste was pretty boring.. But it had some cool stuff too. Then we went downtown, watched some hisrotical buildings and then we got time to shopp.

I had a great day, eventhough it was very windy and cold.

Decorating our hallwaaaay

We decorated the choir hallway yesterday for our competition!! It's so pretty now :D

Soon I'll be going to our rehearsal and tomorrow we have our pre-show!! I'm getting nervous now, but it'll be fine :)

Had a lunch date with Em before or 5h rehearsal at Quiznos. My new favorit place!!

Yep, had a 5h rehearsal today and now I'm exhausted. Our coreografer was not very nice to us today, which I thought was good. Because now we have the whole show done and only have to practice to make it the best it can be.

Last game

Had my last cheering today! :(( The season is over for mee and I turned in my unifrom.. I'll miss it so much. I bought the team some cupcakes to say thaanks.

Concert

Had a concert today! It was very short and we didn't do any dancing. This concert was with Hip Street (my "old" choir). We did decent, it wasn't bad. Not a lot of people came though ahah.

This weekend is three days looong!! Presidents Day on Monday :D No school, and that's lovelyyy.

Senior Night and Valentine's day

Yesterday it was senior night for the cheerleaders and basketball players. We dressed up during school and then during the game at the evening they called the seniors name and we walked around the court. It was a bit awkward but also super fun (!!) They said: "Senior Moa Lubell all the way from Sweden!!" yaay ;D I got a teddy bear, a poster and a bunch of candy from the team!

AND TODAY WAS VALENTINE'S DAY!! Delivered singing telegrams today too, ihihih. Can't believe so many people bought them. I guess it's funny to embarrass your friends ;) Got some cute gifts from Greg and Minerva then a girl from New Dimension had bought us all flowers! cuuuute :D rehearsal today was to exhausting.. We danced all the time and the band was there. Double the energy!

Mondaaay

School today was too boring! Nothing interesting happened. Hannah made this cool brade in my hair during Spanish class. She had four sets of hair instead of three, looks awesome!

Greg took me to get my dance shoes when he got home and on our way back we saw a car with their plate saying; SWEDEN 1. LIKE WHAT?? why..? When I saw it I was like: SWEDEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!! and Greg was like: OMG WE HAVE TO TAKE A PICTUREEE!! WHERE IS MY PHONE? Haha, it was too hilarious.

2nd semester

Back to school! It wasn't that bad actually :) Fun to see everyone again! My schedule looks a bit different now. I have dance instead of video (WITH HANNAH, WOHO) and picture-something instead of study hall! Rachel switched her Biology so she now has Enviromental science with me. Yay!

Christmas concert!

It's oveeer, we did it! and we didn't suck!

After school me, Rachel and Harley went home to Rachel to fix us before to concert. Then we went back to the school, wormed up with all the other choirs and got ready. There are five choirs at our school, I'm in Hip Street (singing and dancing).

The first number of the concert we had to wear outdoor clothes and all the choirs sang together. Right after that we had our three songs, Hallelujah, Santa's in the house, Rockin' on a christmas eve, and then we were almost done. We just had to wait until the end of the concert and do opening number again with all the warm clothes. We could watch the other choirs performans on the little TV down in the room where we changed.

The last picture is of 4 members of New Dimension, the best choir at the school. THEY ARE AWESOME!

LN v LC

The time is now 10 pm and I'm hoooome!

WE WON AGAINST LN! it was crazyyyy!! There were so many people there and they screamed and cheered, funniest thing ever! We did the dance that we'd practice and everything, I didn't mess up that bad :D haha and rehearsal went so much better than last time, we're getting there.

Practice, rehearsal, practice, rehersal!

Today I had to stay at school to 8 pm! Jeees, I'm exhausted. First we had rehearsal with the choir in the auditorium and then cheer practice. TOMORROW IS THE LN V LC GAME! It's gonna be so biig, LC are like our "enemies" so if we win this game I'm going to be so happy! (LC is another school)

But I need to study for the final week so I'm not crashing to bed just yet!!

Christmas concert coming up!

Funny pictures hihi!

But today we had out first rehearsal for our christmas concert. All the choirs were there to learn the opening number, 125 students. It was loud and warm, just crazy. It turned out good though. The rehearsal didn't start until 6 pm so I went home to Rachel in between to study a bit. She had sooo many pets: 3 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird and 2 ferrets. She also has a horse but not at home lol. We didn't get much of our homework done, we talked most of the time. Then we went back to school and I stayed after after the rehearsal with my friend Anastazie 'cause there was a band concert that day too, and her boyfriend is in the band. So now I'm finally home and I'm going to bed!

First basketball game

So today we had the first basketball game!! I was actaully really nervous before but as soon as you got out there it just disappered. It was so fun :) we finally won, 82-46. Go Cats!

Dance recital

Today, after practice (that ended at 7 pm), the school had a Dance Recital. It's just the dance classes perfoming. They were pretty good, very entertaining. Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, it's hard to take pictures of people moving all the time.

In this crazy world of choices I've only got a few

for once, I actually felt good after doing a history test. Had a test today about the Civil War in America and I think I passed... must be the first one.

The school musical was today and I went with Hannah. It was really good, very surprised about that. They were such good acters. The name of the musical was "Anything goes", had never heard about it but it was really cute. The story was almost like Titanic.

Lawrence north High School

Finally took the time to take some pictures around the school.

Nothing special really, long boring hallways with big green lockers. Outside we have the tennis courts, a baseball court, of course the football feild and further down we also have soccer feilds. The things I didn't get a picture of is the indoor pool and the basketball court. Outside the school there is a huge parking lot around the whole school, in front is the parking lot for the teachers and at the back is for the students.

The candy machines is everywhere in the school and everybody, almost, walks around with a bag of candy or chips in their hands.
