Finally a picture of the school bus! :D It's not like the buses in the movies but almost, they just upgraded it a bit ;) And I think it's a lillte funny that they put up a sign that says "deaf child area". I guess it's good.. but... I just have never seen it before :s
Haha, and then their is a picture of me by the entance to the cafeteria! I just thought it would be in the yearbook. Because when they came and asked me if they could take the picture they just said that it was for the yearbook and then Daeul came to me the next day and was like " Have u seen the picture of you?" I was like... "what?" haha, cool :D I didn't find a good angle to take the picture from because all the lights reflected in the glass.

Pancakes to breakfest again!!
Me and Greg took Ryan and his family to eat breakfast at an restaurant today. I had pancakes with bacon (weird combo), felt like I didn't need to eat ever again. I was so full. LOVE IT
xoxo

Today I baked cinnamon buns for the first time, all alone! Daeul helped me with preparing stuff but otherwise I did them all by myself. This is not my picture, I didn't want to take a picture of mine 'cause they... are so pretty :)) or? Here in USA they don't have "pärlsocker" so I just had regular sugar on top hahah. By my opinion they didn't turn out good, taste a bit bitter acctually (maybe had to much yeast in them), but apparently they did because everybody is eating them! Greg had like 3-4 of them after dinner. Next time will be better!!
xoxo
.

So we lost again.... BUT this time we acctually scored or what you call it. We were in the lead to the third quarter but then something happened with the other team. In ten minutes the went from 14 to 34 points.
Today I had a real American breakfast!! Pancakes with butter and syrup. I don't like syrup, you get this wierd taste in your mouth after you eat it :s but the pancakes were yummiiii!
In choir we learned some choreograpy to the songs we are doing. Hoho it's so fuuun! I love the teacher, he is the beest. We're fundraising to be able to buy dresses to the winterconsert, selling cookies! I'm going to ask the cheerleading team if they wanna buy, I bet they do ;)
xoxo

haha, love this picture. It's sooo hilarious. I die of laughter every time I see it!! I have no pictures for the blog so I chose this one!
The math test was not that bad accually. The teacher went through almoste every question right before the test... I was like: Are u kiddin' me? IT WAS GOOD, it's not that but... why? Jaja. When I'm doing a test (in any subject) I try to hold on to it as long as possible so if I come up something I can add it. But I noticed that at the end of the period everyone was staring at me and my paper (it just laid on my desk), even the teacher and I started to look around and I saw that everyone had turned in their paper. so I asked: Are you waiting for me? and everyone was like: YES! haha so awkward...
Had cheerleading practice today, only two laps on the track. Hallelulja, it's not funny to run in this heat. I feel bad for the football players that have all that equipment on them while they are training. I got to try to fly when we practiced stunts (that's when you're in the air). It was so fun, but the first time was a little bit scary. If I keep on practicing on that I will probebly be a flier.
I would have cheered on tomorrows game but I have not received my uniform yet but if I get it tomorrow I might do it. Otherwise I'll just wait til next week, and that's good! 'cause then I can learn all of the cheers. I only now like 4 or 5 of them.
xoxo

Cutest dogie Angel on the pictures! She had a hard time sitting still when I took the pictures but otherwise she loves to cuddle.
School is going great, I've started to get some homework now and I have a mathtest on Thursday. Not to excited about that... hope it's not to hard though. I'm starting to make some good friends too, on green days I'm eating lunch with some other hilarious seniors. and I'M NOW IN THE CHEERLEADING TEAM!! that's just so cool. Last Thursday I went to practice but it wasn't sure if I could be in the team or not so I didn't want to say anything but I went to practice today again and I'm now on the team!! I'm super happy. I haven't got my uniform yet but I will soon and then I'll uplaod a picture on it. As I said I was on my second practice today and we had to run 12 laps around the schooltrack. It was so hot outside, I thought I was going to die. No, not really but it was tough. And I have to say, cheerleading is hard. I really need to start stretching and become flexible... it's a lot of work I got to do with learning all the cheers.

Yesterday were we at Kings Island, (it's like Gröna Lund). The pictures pretty much speaks for them selfs but when we go there I wanted to go on the biggest roller coaster first, of course. Afterwards I felt awful... never felt like that before haha. It took about 30 min before I found myself. It's the roller coaster on the second pictuer, the first drop has an angle on 74 degrees and is 66 m. It felt like it went down for an eternity and it had a speed on 130 km/h.
Greg won a basketball for me :D and something you got to do when you at an amusment park is go on a carousel. Then me and Greg went on a thing where you got really wet so we had to dry off in a "Family dryer".
And the things we are holding in is ice cream!! It was sooo good!! <3
xoxo

btw: the final score in the football game was 70-0 to LC... GO LN!!!

First football game!! It was LN (Lawrence North) vs LC (Lawrence Central). Of course I didn't understand a thing but it was amazing!! Almost every student had paint in their faces or on their bodys and everybody cheered. GO WILDCATS GO!! but we were awful... I'm serious. At halftime it was 44-0 to LC... so we decided to leave. But with a smile on our faces :) Next game we will take them!!
Now it's the end of the first week in school, yay. It is so different and I still get lost in that huge building. Besides that it's super but I can't find my locker HEHE ain't that gr8? I'm gonna ask someone on monday to help me but for now I'm sharing with a really nice guy from my science and math class.
Some things that are different: The schools lunch is actually good but you have to pay for it. They have everything: hamburgers, salads, sandwiches, pizza, chinafood etc. In the beginnig of the first period everyday you stand up and you have to hold you right hand over your heart and say some lines about how great America is or something. The bell rings when class is over and it's forbidden to leave before that, the bell rings 5 min before class starts and then when it starts so you know when to, kind of, hurry up.
xoxo

Hi! I have started school now. It is so crazy and different from what I know. There are so many people, when the bell rings and you're supposed to go to your next class the hallways get crowded. The first day I got so lost that I just stoped in the middel of it and waited for it to cool down because I couldn't se anything and I had no idea where I was. I ride the yellow schoolbus to school, ain't that cool? I will take a picture of it sometime in the future, and of the school, just don't want to look like a tourist.....
We have Green-day and Red-day and follows a every other day schedule. Monday was Green-day, today was Red-day and tomorrow is Green-day again. My Green-days looks like this; 1 period: Enviromental Science, 2 period: US history and English, 3 period: Vidoe, Lunch (1.05-1.35) and 4 period: Precalculus (math). My Red-days looks like this; 1 period: Study hall, 2 period: US history and English, 3 period: Hip street (choir), Lunch (1.35-2.05) and 4 period: Spanish.
Video and choir are very nice lessons. In video I get to create my own vidoes and that is very fun. Choir, singing, has always been one of my interest so it's nice just to get away from all the studying. Think that will help to not stress to much :)
I might not be just as active as I have been this week because now school starts and everybody goes to work but I will keep you updated on everything cool that is happening around here.
xoxo

Holaa! TOMORROW SCHOOL STARTS! omg, gonna be so much fun! And today was too. First we went to Kathy Coopers house, my local coordinator, and met other exchange students that lives in Indianapolis. It was a lot of fun and we got some good information. It's fun to get to know other people that's in the same position as you. After that we went to another wedding :D it will be many weddings haha. But this one was really beautiful. They got married in a beautiful garden with all these flowers and small waterfalls. AND THE DRESS!! that was a beautiful dress the bride had, want to have the same one when Im getting married. AFTER THAT we stop to eat at a mexican resturant. Greg and Minerva told us about how they met and it was a lovely story. Thank you, Internet ;) And we laughed very much, especially at one picture Greg had on his phone of me and Daeul. omg.. might upload it some time in the future.
Now I have to pack for school!!! and decide on what to wear... the biggest problem in the world...

Now I've been to Walmart for the first time in my life! :D It will not be the last haha but seriously, they had EVERYTHING! and the store never seemed to end. You could just walk forever by all these things they had but never reach the ending wall. They had groceries, clothes, electronic stuff, school stuff and even small places were you could fix you eyebrows and a hairsalon and an eyeglass-store. And a lot more I guess, don't remember. We went there to buy me and Daeuls schoolsupplies, like notebooks and pencils, and we fixed our phones. So DON'T TEXT MY OLD PHONE NUMBER! I have a new one, so ask me for it if you want it. But, yeah, for you who lives in Sweden, don't. it willl just cost you a lot of money so contact me on Facebook or Twitter or something insead. :)
xoxo

This morning we went to see Minerva's sisters sons play American football. At first it was pretty cold because we were there around 8.30 a.m. and then it wasn't very fun but later the sun came out it got better. They were so cute, the players, with their big helmets and equipment!! Haha and I didn't understand a thing about the game. All I saw was a bunch of kids in a big pile and all the people around me was like " YEAAAAAAH!! THAT'S GOOD!!" and I'm like "yay, go!" Didn't even see the ball. I'm looking forward seeing the big guys play when school starts ;D

Pizzanight at Mr. and Mrs Smiths house!! Greg's son Ryan came to visit us with his wife Heather and their children. We had pizza, usually I don't eat pizza but I tried it. Here in America they don't have oregano on them so it was okey.. but I would prefer a pizza without the tomatosauce too 'cause it was to much. After we had eaten we went down to the basement to play with the Wii and the pool table. The kids were full of energi. At one moment they wanted to to this, then this, then that. Jesus, can't we do one thing at the time? But they were really nice and cute. Actually I got a hug from them before they jumped in bed.
xoxo
This picture is from Monday, I think, when we visited the firestation. Minervas colleague's brother works there so he took us on a tour round the station. They had a lot of big trucks and some huge ladders on them. Disappointed that they didn't slide down a pole when they got to put the clothes on for an emergency :(( haha just kidding... didn't expect them to ;)
Today we havn't done much. Me and Daeul were home alone while the others worked but in the afternoon we went to see Gregs parents and had dinner there. They were nice and they'd baked a really good pie!

I'm so excited for school to start!! that's all I'm waiting for right now, and tomorrow I've been here for a whole week!! omg, time goes by fast.. this will be a great year :))
Okey, today we went to the school and fixed the schedule. Im gonna be in the 12th grade :D so happyyy, might go to prom and stuff! Hope so at least. Im going to study math, enviromantal science, history and english literature, video, choir and spanish. I have like 7 FAT books...  they are heavy. hope i don't need to bring all of them to school... And I went shopping with our neighbor Jasmine and her friend in the afternoon. they were really nice, bought some lovely shoes!! We will maybe go to a movie or something this weekend.
Now I'm going to bed! my legs are killing me, you don't understand how big the mall was....  nighty night, sleepyhead ;)

There are so many beautiful houses here!! I love to walk around the blocks, just to see the houses.
Okey, so I took the time to take some pictures of the family and the house today!

That's just parts of it. Awesome right? The two last pictures it from the basement. It's more for us teenagers to hang around in with a dartboard, footballgame, basketball-thing, TVcorner with Wii and lots more :) It's really nice, it will be fun to bring some friends over later. And as you see there are no shoes in the hallway ... because you don't take them of, you just walk right in. That's odd, or that's at least what I think. I knew that they didn't but it feels wrong to walk with shoes indoors, feels .. dirty. Like I'm messing up the carpet. they don't mind though :p
The dogs are soooooo cute but they bark a lot. As soon as you go downstairs they start barking. But I'll live with that 'cause THEY ARE ADORABLE.
At the dinner table today we tried to learn the korean alphapet and I tried to teach them some Swedish words. Have not had that fun in a long time, my stomach ached by all that laughter. Only Daeuls name is difficult to pronounce....
See U soon ! xoxo

Hiii! Today was a long day :D We went to visit Gregs sister at her farm about one hour from Indianapolis. It was so much fun!! They had a donkey, his name was Jack, he was so cute! And they had horses and dogs and cats and AH! We even got to fish in one of their ponds. We catched some small ones but the fish were smart. They took all the bait without us noticing it so it was a lot of waiting. Greg splashed loads of water on me and made me put a worm on the hook. DISGUSTING!!
btw: It was a storm here this night.. I woke up and there were like flashes all over the sky. I vidoetaped it, it's on facebook. It was scary as shiiiiiit. Never been through anything like it and they said that that was onoly a small one..... That sometimes it can be like tornadoes. Lovely!!
My first day in Indianapolis and I get to experience a wedding. wow. Greg Smith was the person who married the couple and the wedding really beautiful but not like ordinary weddings. It was a Hillbilly-wedding. They barbecued some big pigs, don't know what it's called, and wherever you looked there was tattos.

I got to try

I'm finally in Indianapolis. It's hard to believe that I'm going to be here for 10 months. My flights here went well, but my back hurts now haha. (The flight from Sweden-New York took 9 hours and I didn't move from my seat) I sat by an older couple on the flight to New York and they were sooooo kind. They helped me find the gate where my flight to Indianapolis would go when we got to the airport. Without them I would have missed it so I'm very thankful. But now I'm here at least and its wonderful. I'll take some pictures of the house and neighborhood so you can see how awesome it is :) I've just eaten breakfast and I am not sure what we are going to do today but we'll see :D
