Graduation day!!

So finally graduation is over ahah! It took foreverrr.... So as you all know I was in the first row, the choir performed and I was the 7th person to walk then it was just waiting. 500 names. The ceremony started at 4.30 pm and ended at 6.45 pm. Gosh it was boring! But I got my certificate and I got to graduate the American styleeee, and the princiapal did not mess up my name :D

Dance recital

Had our dance recital today and it was so much fuuuuuuuuun!!! YEEEAH, I want to do it again. So tired now though. After the second dance we all were breathing so hard hahahha, GAVE IT ALL!!

Poff, poff!

Today Hannah's cousin came over for a while! We did some real family bonding stuff haha. We shot guns :D Hannah was surprisingly good at it!! She hit all the cans. For me, it was a bit scary at first but I caught up fast. My ears hurt so bad, the guns were loud!! It was fun though. Then I also got to try to drive her cousins car. That.. went good as long as the rode was straight. But then when I was about to pull up on the driveway he had to pull the safety break because I was about to hit their mailbox... Can't wait to go back to Sweden and start driving! It was so fun and easier than I thought it would be.

Going back to Indianapolis tomorrow. Ugh, and then school at Monday! Can't we just have two weeks of break?

Went to Chicago yesterday on a fieldtrip! Started of at a museum, that is my taste was pretty boring.. But it had some cool stuff too. Then we went downtown, watched some hisrotical buildings and then we got time to shopp.

I had a great day, eventhough it was very windy and cold.

Last competition

Last competition yesterday! We had out best performance and we got standing ovations. It was just such an amazing feeling. We are only 20 girls in New Dimension but almost all the other choirs have around 40-60 students so we are always the smallest choir but give just as much sound. Did not win anything this weekend either but I am so happy right now that I don't even care.

It was just so amazing to see them, I want to marry every guy in that choir. Wished we had a mixed choir at LN :( Played twister between our show and the award cermony and the also had a photo booth in the cafeteria, we took a lot of pictures haha!

Oh and by the way, Rachael bought me Swedish fish. It's candy and it was sooo good! Haha now I understand why people always ask me if we eat a lot of fish.

Second competition

we had our second competition yesterday! Spent the night at Emily's with Kayla and this weekend New D wanted to do something fun for the whole band and stage crew. We did spirit boxes! Everybody in the band, stage crew and New D filled out a form of what kind of things they like, best candy, animal etc. and the choir girls picked teo or three to do (a box with the stuff they liked). On my box it said I love you in Swedish (weell, almost) and had the swedish flag around it. Sooo sweet. I got nailpolish, peanuts in different way and other stuff!

The competition was okay. We didn't perform until 1.10 pm and we didn't make the finals but we did so much better this week than last week. Improoovment :D

It was an hour drive to the school where we performed so before we went home we stopped for dinner at this super cool place. Almost like StirCrazy where we ate at Daeul's birthday.

Now I'm gonna watch Melodifestivalen and see who won!!! I have no idea actually.

Btw: for those that wonder. We have a costume change in our show. We start of with the long dresses and then we change into the Elvis clothes before the last song.

Competition #1

Hiiii! Yesterday was sooo much fun. One of the best day since I've been here.

Emily, Sydney and Melissa spent the night over at my house. Our alarm went of at 4.15... yay, fun! We fixed our hair, ate a small breakfast and headed for the school. 5.30 the bus left. We were the first choir the perform at 9 am. It went really good, I'm proud of all of us. the last choir in our competition finished by noon and then they announced which made it to the finals. Sadly we were not one of thoose, but close! The finals took place at 7 pm and we decided to stay and support them. To kill time people played twister, cards, sleep, walk around doing nothing, but it was so fun! We watched some of the showes for the mixed choirs and they were awesome. The guys give it so much more power, or something. It's just awesome, wish we had ma mixed choir. We came back home again at 9 pm. It was a looong day.

Now I have a bunch of homework and then I want to watch melodifestivalen if I have time.

Had my last cheering today! :(( The season is over for mee and I turned in my unifrom.. I'll miss it so much. I bought the team some cupcakes to say thaanks.

18 Birthday

Today's my birthday!! It's been awesome.Started of with that Rachel gave me the cutest cupcakes ever in forst period with a teddybear that sang. Then they sang for me in choir and spanish :') After school Hannah took me to Applebees ( a restaurant) and we had dinner. YUM. Then I had practice and choir, where I got a cake and a ballon. So I was pretty tired when I got home and just wantedd to crash in bed BUT LOOK AT IT! it's gonna take forever to take down. But I love my fmily and friends, they are the best.

And thanks mom and dad for the candy, love you! Made my day that my mommy called me today!!! <3

We celebrated christmas todaay! because we're going to Mexico over the holiday :)

Ryan came over with his kids and we opened presents. Addy got a big doll house that Greg built, ALL BY HIM SELF. It was so awesome, and all the small details were so cute! She loved it. She also got all the furniture to it. Branton got a computer and he was crazy about it! He even have the new Windows 8.

I got money, a gift card to the movie theater, jewelry, adapters to the power outlets from Chris 'cause I stole his heheh, and a memory card for my phone.

Greg has a special thing every year, everybody goes treasure haunting! you get a clue, that lead you to another clue, that lead you to another one and so on til you find your treasure. It was so funny! He hide a clue under my chair in the bedroom and I was like: WHEN DID YOU PUT IT THERE?

Christmas concert!

It's oveeer, we did it! and we didn't suck!

After school me, Rachel and Harley went home to Rachel to fix us before to concert. Then we went back to the school, wormed up with all the other choirs and got ready. There are five choirs at our school, I'm in Hip Street (singing and dancing).

The first number of the concert we had to wear outdoor clothes and all the choirs sang together. Right after that we had our three songs, Hallelujah, Santa's in the house, Rockin' on a christmas eve, and then we were almost done. We just had to wait until the end of the concert and do opening number again with all the warm clothes. We could watch the other choirs performans on the little TV down in the room where we changed.

WE WON AGAINST LN! it was crazyyyy!! There were so many people there and they screamed and cheered, funniest thing ever! We did the dance that we'd practice and everything, I didn't mess up that bad :D haha and rehearsal went so much better than last time, we're getting there.

So today we had the first basketball game!! I was actaully really nervous before but as soon as you got out there it just disappered. It was so fun :) we finally won, 82-46. Go Cats!

Dance recital

Today, after practice (that ended at 7 pm), the school had a Dance Recital. It's just the dance classes perfoming. They were pretty good, very entertaining. Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, it's hard to take pictures of people moving all the time.

Have a math test tomorrow, wish me luck.
