The last football game is over. Kind off sad :( It wasn't the best season but it was so fun.
Now let's get ready for basketball. :D
Today after cheerpractice Hannah followed me home. We had an assignment in Spanish to make pictures of yarn and it had to be Spanish-related so we decided to make the flags of Cuba and Puerto-rico. They were super easy :) Hannah is such a sweet girl!
Tomorrow is Wednesday, already? We'll get out cookies that we sold, finally. People have been asking about them and I'm gonna send some home to my lovely family :))

Homecoming-day is over! Wow, that went by quickly!!
The beginning of the day was a bit fail because we were supposed to do a flash-mob in the commens (cafeteria) but they never put on the music... .so we just walked away. And then thet cancelled the peparaly so we didn't do our dance ;/ Before the game started there was a thing in the field house. I dont know what they called it but you could get your face painted, there was free food, you could jump bouncy caslte and some people performed etc. Funfunfun. We did our dance in there instead! :D
At the game it was raining :( but we were allowd to were out warmupsssss, so happy for that!! And then I got a little present from the cheerleaders because it was the seniors night! So cute of them!! Got a flower, a t-shirt that some of the cheerleaders had written on and a picture of the Varsity team. After the game it was the DANCE! In the beginning there was like no one there... but in the end it got better and I was super hyper and was dancing and had a great time! I met the prom king, he was super nice! It so fun to hear Americans trying to pronounce my name.

Today was Superhero-day! the cheerleaders dressed up as SuperCheerleaders. I wished I had more pictures of all the cool costumes people wore but I'm to much of a coward to ask if I can take pictures of them... I saw Spidermans, Batmans, Supermans and Catwomen all over the school today. One Captain America and some others. It's just awesome.
Tomorrow is Homecoming !! Looking forward to it so much

Today was "would you still be my friend if"- day! That means that you dressed randomly to see if your friends still would be your friends even if you dressed like that. I brought the Swedish colors to the school, BLUE AND YELLOW!
I don't know the people in the pictures, I just asked them if I could take pictures of them.
First day of homecoming week was Pyjama-day! :D I was just wearing my sweatpants and a sweater but some kids in school really got into it! Everybody looked so cute and cozy!!
Madi and Mckinsey on the first picture and Jared and Heidi on the second. Yes, Jared is very tall but Heidi is also very short soo.. there's a big difference between them ;p
After school me and Minerva went to the YMCA and did some strength and endurance. I will not be able to get out of bed tomorrow.. It was such a hard workout!! my legs were shaking after the first ten minutes.

Every day is a beautiful day
Today school was a lot of fun! Study hall with Danielle and Payton = the best time of the day. Then in Spanish we had a vocab quiz. We were divided inte groups and then each of you had to say a letter in the word you were given. Ex if you word was paisaje (landscape) then I started with L and the next one said A etc. My group won HIHIHI! And the game was sooo intense. My heart was pounding.. and when I said the last letter in "una vez allí" I was like " I WITH AN ACCENT!!!!" and Mrs. Ploch was like yeah you won and everybody was screaming and giving eachother high-fives haha!
Then in choir we did tounge-twisting exercises and Mr. Martin told me to write one in Swedish on the board so I wrote "sex laxar i en laxask" and Mr. Martion was like " soo let's not question why you wrote "sex" on the board.. " Im like " IT'S THE NR 6, nothing else.. " haha and everybody laughed.
And the cheerleaders stayed after school again, fooling around! And we did the dance D: I messed but not to bad.. we will do it again in two weeks and then it better be good!! :) We lost the game again.. out football team are really bad.. 0 - 63 was the score...

Today I cheered at the gaame!! :D I was so nervous before we started but it wasn't that bad. Nobody really cared about us haha, just the game! I messed up sometimes but it was my first time! Sadly Indianapolis were hit by a storm again and the game was cancelled in the end of second quater.
The blond girl on the pictures and kind of looks like me is Hannah! She is a really good friend, helped me a lot with the cheers before the game today (she's cheering for JV but at homegames everybody cheers together). Many of the cheerleaders stayed after in school to practice and do some homework.
Finally weekend too! School may be fun, but weekends are the best thing that exists.

FINALLY !! I GOT MY UNIFORM TODAY :D
I'm so happy, I'm going to cheer on Friday as a VARSITY!
I get that most of you don't know what versity is, even I don't, but I'll explain the best I can. There are three different groups of cheerleaders: varsity, JV and freshman. Varsity, they cheer for the "big" football team on Friday games. JV cheers for the JV football team (if something like that excists) and what JV means (junior varsity) that they are not as good as the ones in the varsity team. Freshmans, they cheer for the freshmans teams (I guess). Don't hate me if I got this wrong, I'm just happy that I get to cheer!

Finally a picture of the school bus! :D It's not like the buses in the movies but almost, they just upgraded it a bit ;) And I think it's a lillte funny that they put up a sign that says "deaf child area". I guess it's good.. but... I just have never seen it before :s
Haha, and then their is a picture of me by the entance to the cafeteria! I just thought it would be in the yearbook. Because when they came and asked me if they could take the picture they just said that it was for the yearbook and then Daeul came to me the next day and was like " Have u seen the picture of you?" I was like... "what?" haha, cool :D I didn't find a good angle to take the picture from because all the lights reflected in the glass.

So we lost again.... BUT this time we acctually scored or what you call it. We were in the lead to the third quarter but then something happened with the other team. In ten minutes the went from 14 to 34 points.
Today I had a real American breakfast!! Pancakes with butter and syrup. I don't like syrup, you get this wierd taste in your mouth after you eat it :s but the pancakes were yummiiii!
In choir we learned some choreograpy to the songs we are doing. Hoho it's so fuuun! I love the teacher, he is the beest. We're fundraising to be able to buy dresses to the winterconsert, selling cookies! I'm going to ask the cheerleading team if they wanna buy, I bet they do ;)

Cutest dogie Angel on the pictures! She had a hard time sitting still when I took the pictures but otherwise she loves to cuddle.
School is going great, I've started to get some homework now and I have a mathtest on Thursday. Not to excited about that... hope it's not to hard though. I'm starting to make some good friends too, on green days I'm eating lunch with some other hilarious seniors. and I'M NOW IN THE CHEERLEADING TEAM!! that's just so cool. Last Thursday I went to practice but it wasn't sure if I could be in the team or not so I didn't want to say anything but I went to practice today again and I'm now on the team!! I'm super happy. I haven't got my uniform yet but I will soon and then I'll uplaod a picture on it. As I said I was on my second practice today and we had to run 12 laps around the schooltrack. It was so hot outside, I thought I was going to die. No, not really but it was tough. And I have to say, cheerleading is hard. I really need to start stretching and become flexible... it's a lot of work I got to do with learning all the cheers.

First football game!! It was LN (Lawrence North) vs LC (Lawrence Central). Of course I didn't understand a thing but it was amazing!! Almost every student had paint in their faces or on their bodys and everybody cheered. GO WILDCATS GO!! but we were awful... I'm serious. At halftime it was 44-0 to LC... so we decided to leave. But with a smile on our faces :) Next game we will take them!!
Now it's the end of the first week in school, yay. It is so different and I still get lost in that huge building. Besides that it's super but I can't find my locker HEHE ain't that gr8? I'm gonna ask someone on monday to help me but for now I'm sharing with a really nice guy from my science and math class.
Some things that are different: The schools lunch is actually good but you have to pay for it. They have everything: hamburgers, salads, sandwiches, pizza, chinafood etc. In the beginnig of the first period everyday you stand up and you have to hold you right hand over your heart and say some lines about how great America is or something. The bell rings when class is over and it's forbidden to leave before that, the bell rings 5 min before class starts and then when it starts so you know when to, kind of, hurry up.

Hi! I have started school now. It is so crazy and different from what I know. There are so many people, when the bell rings and you're supposed to go to your next class the hallways get crowded. The first day I got so lost that I just stoped in the middel of it and waited for it to cool down because I couldn't se anything and I had no idea where I was. I ride the yellow schoolbus to school, ain't that cool? I will take a picture of it sometime in the future, and of the school, just don't want to look like a tourist.....
We have Green-day and Red-day and follows a every other day schedule. Monday was Green-day, today was Red-day and tomorrow is Green-day again. My Green-days looks like this; 1 period: Enviromental Science, 2 period: US history and English, 3 period: Vidoe, Lunch (1.05-1.35) and 4 period: Precalculus (math). My Red-days looks like this; 1 period: Study hall, 2 period: US history and English, 3 period: Hip street (choir), Lunch (1.35-2.05) and 4 period: Spanish.
Video and choir are very nice lessons. In video I get to create my own vidoes and that is very fun. Choir, singing, has always been one of my interest so it's nice just to get away from all the studying. Think that will help to not stress to much :)
I might not be just as active as I have been this week because now school starts and everybody goes to work but I will keep you updated on everything cool that is happening around here.

Okey, today we went to the school and fixed the schedule. Im gonna be in the 12th grade :D so happyyy, might go to prom and stuff! Hope so at least. Im going to study math, enviromantal science, history and english literature, video, choir and spanish. I have like 7 FAT books... they are heavy. hope i don't need to bring all of them to school... And I went shopping with our neighbor Jasmine and her friend in the afternoon. they were really nice, bought some lovely shoes!! We will maybe go to a movie or something this weekend.
Now I'm going to bed! my legs are killing me, you don't understand how big the mall was.... nighty night, sleepyhead ;)
